The Brandy of the Damned: Ireland’s Rock Odyssey, Vol. VII

 

Blues and boogie rock from Irish artists recorded mostly between 1970 and 1972. Granny’s Intentions, Skid Row, Rory GallagherStud, Thin Lizzy, Funky Junction and Cromwell began the new decade with heavy rock, while Orphanage, Van Morrison, Jonathan Kelly, Ditch Cassidy, Dr. Strangely Strange, Bees Make Honey and Loudest Whisper adapted the blues to the troubadour tradition.
